Abstract

In a context marked by rapid socioeconomic change and increased competition in the job market, Moroccan higher education is placing growing emphasis on the development of transferable skills, commonly referred to as soft skills. These skills aim to enhance students’ employability and help them adapt to contemporary professional demands.

The objective of this study is to analyze the impact of soft skills on the academic and social behavior of university students, using a comparative approach between two types of programs: open-access and limited-access. Using a quantitative methodology based on a questionnaire administered to 100 students in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Oujda, this research highlights significant differences in terms of the perception, adoption, and impact of soft skills.
