Résumé

We are pleased to present the selected proceedings of the ICDIL 2021 international conference, which was held online on June 18-19, 2019 at Mohamed First University, Faculty of Letters and human sciences, Oujda, Morocco. The conference provided a platform for innovative research and in-depth debates to explore ways to advance effective higher education instruction to meet the increasing demands of the 21st century learner. The two-days ICDIL 2021 intended to prompt higher education practitioners to reflect upon the current state of the art and the future trends of innovative pedagogies, particularly in what regards building capacity and fostering 21st century skills integration. Participants, including speakers, presenters, and panelists expanded their knowledge and exchanged ideas and best practices on digital information literacy pedagogy.

The proceedings contain a selection of refereed papers presented at the 2nd international conference on Digital Information Literacy in Higher Education. The contributions highlight key issues and developments within the multifaceted field of digital media literacy. The book is intended for academia, researchers, educators, and practitioners working in the fields of innovative pedagogies in general and digital literacy pedagogy in particular. The discussions have important implications for higher education curriculum development, particularly in what regards the integration of digital information literacy into English language instruction.
